Dr. Tamana Begay – Opening Speaker

Tamana (Bunny) Begay is of Navajo, Seneca, Mohawk descent and was raised in Portland, Oregon with summers spent on the Northern Navajo reservation.

Dr. Begay began her college career at San Diego Mesa Community College and then transferred to the University of California, San Diego, Revelle College. She graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minors in art history and psychology.
In 1999, Dr. Begay enrolled in the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry’s post-baccalaureate program. Following this program, she began her graduate studies at the University of the Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry, in San Francisco. After earning her D.D.S in 2003, she began working with the Indian Health Service.

Dr. Begay currently works as the Acting Dental Director at the Gallup Indian Medical Center in Gallup, NM. She is involved in several local and national organizations promoting American Indian/Alaska Native students into higher education and professional careers.

Cathy Jameson – Key Note Speaker

Cathy Jameson is the founder of Jameson Management, an international dental management, marketing, and hygiene coaching firm. The Jameson Method of Management, developed by Cathy, offers proven management and marketing systems for helping organizations improve their workflow and efficiency in a positive, forward-thinking culture. Cathy earned a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and then a Master’s Degree in psychology from Goddard College. She received her doctorate from Walden University.

Cathy has been named one of the Top 25 Women in Dentistry as well as being the recipient of the second Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Association of Dental Office Managers in 2014. Cathy has been named a Leader in CE by Dentistry Today multiple times, most recently in 2021.

She considers herself a life-long learner and encourages those around her to be in a constant state of study, growth and action. She is the author of several books, including her latest title, the third edition of Collect What You Produce.

Comedian- Jill Kimmel / Friday, August 26, 2022

This hilarious mother of college students has brought her observations about divorce, dating, and raising kids on five overseas tours for the military, is the writer and star of the, “What A Mouth” Facebook video series, performed at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, and was a cast member on Comedy Central’s “Kevin Hart Presents” Hart of the City”.

Jill has appeared in sketches on her older brother’s Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live and also had a 6-month residency at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club, called, “JILL KIMMEL LIVE!” Jill is continuing to work at comedy clubs around the country, as well as performing on cruise ships.
